I'm already blushing, and I haven't even started typing yet!!! This week's Monday Movie Meme from The Bumbles is all about those steamy love scenes that sometimes even MAKE the movie. The ones you don't necessarily watch with your parents? The ones that make you squirm, but watch with your mouth hanging open anyway? I'm going to be forced to copy a couple from Molly and Andy, because honestly, they came to my mind instantly, and it would be just wrong to exclude them!
9 1/2 Weeks - Does anyone really remember the plot of this movie? Does anyone care?
Fatal Attraction - Kitchen sinks, elevators, Chef's knives...it doesn't get any better than this.
Risky Business - I'll never feel the same about trains.

Before the Devil Knows You're Dead - I wouldn't necessarily call it hot, because Phillip Seymour Hoffman's naked butt is not that attractive, but it is graphic, and is the opening shot of the movie. You click "play" and nearly jump out of your seat. Whoa!
Y Tu Mama Tambien - a little three way action...
Secretary - and some S&M...
Boogie Nights - I guess you sorta expect lots of sex in a movie about the porn industry, but still, who could forget a few of these scenes! In one scene, I remember yelling at my husband "what did she just say???", and in another scene "is that thing real?".
OK, well thanks Bumbles. I'm nice and awake now! My palms are sweating. I need to go take my shower now!

Good choices! I still have to see Before the Devil Knows You're Dead. It's on the NetFlix queue.
Holy crap - I totally forgot about Y Tu Mama Tambien - I wasn't comfortable watching that movie period - parents or otherwise!
Risky Business is another goodie.
I haven't seen 9 1/2 weeks in about twenty years! I should look into that again sometime. Fatal Attraction freaks me out with Glenn Close's character and her psychotic personality. Just desserts for Michael Douglas is what I say. ;)
Beth - it's really a good movie; pretty dark and twisted. But just hold onto your hat for that first scene. It takes you unawares!
Bumbles - Y Tu really gets a bad rap for that threesome thing, but it really isn't that graphic. It's not nearly as uncomfortable as some as the others!
Bellezza - Amen sister! Every husband must watch this movie at least once!
There's a great scene in Double Indemnity where Fred McMurry and Barbara Stanwyck talk about driving too fast, getting a speeding ticket and asking the judge for mercy....it's all talk but it's very hot. There's also a scene in a Hitchcock movie, I can't think of the name, that has Ingrid Bergman and Cary Grant talking about tuna sandwiches or something but they're in each other's arms and their lips are never more than an inch apart the entire scene. Very hot.
You can tell I prefer old school steaminess, yes?
Ooo, CB talking about old school steaminess reminds me of the scene in It's A Wonderful Life - where Donna Reed is talking on the phone and Jimmy Stewart is standing next to her, just breathing. So erotic - even though nothing happens.
9 1/2 Weeks had a plot? ;) All I want to know is what happened to Mickey Rourke.
And, oh yes, Y Tu Mama Tambien is great. Love the two guys in that movie and it also has a good soundtrack.
James - there is nothing wrong with old school steam. Sometimes the most erotic scenes are ones where all clothes are in their proper places! But, I knew I could count on you to add a little bit of culture to my tawdry post!
Carrie - I love that kind of chemistry. I'd forgotten that scene!
Iliana - It makes me want to cry when I look at Rourke in that movie, and then look at him now. He had such a bad boy sex appeal then, and now he is pretty ravaged. Sob.
I'm only familiar with Fatal Attraction; the rest I haven't heard before. Till today, I wouldn't mind watching Fatal Attraction again, that movie is simply a classic!!
I remember sneaking into the movie theater to watch 9.5 weeks, because then I was still a minor!
I have yet to see Y Tu Mama Tambien and I have heard many good things about it.
My mind draws a complete blank on this topic. I've either blocked the more steamy ones out or they really don't have that much of an impact on me.
I was locked out of my blog while Blogger determined whether my blog was spam or now and so couldn't participate in this week's meme.
I'm so behind in my reader that I am 2 days late commenting! :)
I love the Monday Movie because it always brings up so many movies I've never seen. Out of all of your choices, I've only see Fatal Attration. But now I have some choices for when I am in the mood for something HOT!
