The assignment for today's BBAW post is this fun reading meme. The challenge, should you accept it? Pick one or two questions from a long list here, then answer them as briefly (five words or less) as possible. Five words? Are you kidding me? I can't answer a yes/no question in five words! But I'm never one to turn down a challenge, so here is my brevity at its best (FYI, names don't count as words!):
Are you the type of person that reads one book at a time, or can you read more than one at a time?
Are you the type of person that reads one book at a time, or can you read more than one at a time?
At least four simultaneously!
Is there a specific book or author that that you find yourself recommending over and over?
Connie May Fowler - search my blog and see!

I was hoping you'd answered all the questions instead of two. But bravo for answering them in no more than five words!
I like how you did it!
BBAW: Reading meme
Fun!! I could have guessed which author you'd pick.
Wow, I'm impressed, you can read four books at a time? I would get confused. I think my limit is two!
Great answers! I love the pics!
You are way smarter than me - I could never read four books at a time!
Melody - well, I've always been to follow rules to the word, and it said I could only answer one or two! It is very difficult for me to use five words or less for anything, even talking in my sleep!
Gautami - brevity was the word!
Beth - yeah, big shocker, huh? Actually, she sent me an e-mail last week thanking me for my kind words. Made my day!
Meghan - well, here is how it works. I couldn't explain because I only had five words. One hard book for me, one audio for me, one hard book with the kids, one audio with the kids.
Amy - it was the only way to curb my need for words!
Kathy - I don't know about smart. Actually it is more a sign of insanity. Strangely enough, based on the four I'm usually reading, they all stay straight in my mind!
If brevity is the soul of wit, then you are super witty!!!! I need to learn from you! : )
1. brevity
2. is
3. not
4. my
5. strength
I knew there was no way I could control my verbosity, so I'm skipping today's meme. I love what you did with the pictures, though :D
Four books + Connie May = fun!
Haha, you are too funny, Sandy. And, I'm with you. I have to have several books going on at once.
I loved that you did pictures :) And that you kept it short and sweet. I seemed to have missed that whole "short" thing and wrote this giant post :p
I can read a few books at the same time too, although I prefer not to as it takes longer to finish them all. So now I read one book at a time. :)
Love how you answerd the questions, Sandy! I have already one of Connie May Fowler's books so I need to work on that. You listed some great books in your interview so I know we have similar tastes.

Jenners - once you get to know me, then, you will think I'm an idiot because I can't shut up!
Caite - haha! Nor mine. But I was working on facing my fears here.
Nymeth - it was hard. But now I wish I would've done all of the questions with pictures. I guess that defeats brevity, though, doesn't it?
ds - you got it, girl!
Iliana - I never used to be that way. This multiple book thing is a new habit...
Chris - I don't think you were the only one. I don't really think brevity is in any of our natures!
Carolyn - Somehow, I never get my stories confused. I suppose they are different enough.
Amy - thank you! I'm pretty sure everyone is over the Connie May Fowler thing with me, but I can't help it. She is so talented.
I've been reading only one book at a time lately...go figure!
J. Kaye - I get twitchy if I'm not reading at every possible minute of the day!
I love your answers! I'm impressed that you read 4 books at a time - is that due to the size of them, or do you just like variety? For example I normally have one big hardback and one paperback on the go at once.
Oh - now see, I missed the fact that you could only use a set amount of words to answer the questions - no wonder the post was so short! I like your wordy ways better :0)
I can read 3 books at one time. That's the best I can do without mixing all the stories together. Haha! When I read more than one, they're of different genres.
Wow - four books at a time! I can only read one, as I like to concentrate on a single one.
I don't know how you juggle 4 books at once. I have 5 or 6 on my nightstand right now (short attention span this summer) and I'm finding that none of them are getting read while I concentrate on the books I bring on the train.
I knew you'd choose Connie May Fowler!

I don't think I'd ever finish a book if I tried to read four at once. LOL
I can't read 4 at once, but I do always have at least 1 print book and an audio going at the same time.
I've never heard of Connie May Fowler....
