Not So Wordless Wednesday: Norway #9

I have found that generally, Europeans make damn good draft beer.  Much better than anything we make over here on our side.  That includes the Norwegians and their Hansa beer.  What we didn't like was the price.  At approximately $15 a glass, we had to be sated with one.  And it wasn't just the beer, it was everything...food, clothing, lodging.  I don't know how people survive over there.  If I had to live in Norway, I would be thin, naked, homeless and sober.

Yikes!
I don't recollect if I have sampled Norwegian beer.

well, part of it is the terrible value of the dollar..but still, a good beer is worth it!
I have a number of pics from my trip that look rather like that! lol

I wonder how much money it seems like to them, in their own currency?

Carl loves a good draft beer and would pay that to try a new one.

I'm so not a beer person, which I guess would be a good thing if I were in Norway. :)

Europe makes the best draft beer, but the exchange rate is killer.

This is where I confess I've never liked beer, European or otherwise.

Margaritas, though...that's a different story.

I am more of a wine/cocktail gal, but a really good beer hits the spot sometimes. Was their beer served cold? I know most places serve it warm.

I am not a beer person so that saves me quite a tidy sum. I was in Bangkok recently and the beer there is so cheap and good that the guys ordered them by the jugs (2 liters each).

Not thin, naked, and drunk? LOL. I'm not sure I've ever had Norwegian beer, unless I had it in Denmark.
