Wordless Wednesday - Zakopane #2

Taken outside our cabin in Zakopane Poland, looking towards the "sleeping knight". If you look closely, it looks like the profile of a man lying on his back.

I see it! Great shot, Sandy!

I hope to take lots of mountain pictures as I go for trainings at various locations because I am participating in my company's Gunung Tahan expedition. I'm so very excited!

That is beautiful! I wouldn't have seen the profile if you hadn't mentioned it.

I love mountain-scapes and this one is lovely. I can make out the man's profile too!

I see it. Where I live Mt. Timpanogas is an Indian Maiden lying on her back. If you want to wander down my road I’m home.

So pretty. If you didn't mention Poland, I would have thought of the mountain range along the freeway in Kauai, Hawaii. :)

COOL!! And he won't fall down like The Old Man of the Mountain in New Hampshire. Wonderful shot.

This is beautiful Sandy! Pretty enough to frame and hang on the wall. Have you done that with any of these pictures? My mom did that with some of the pictures from Ireland. My dad went a little nuts with the camera and we ended up with 10 pictures of the same lake from different angles, that kind of thing. So some were blown up and framed. They looked really pretty.

Just wanted to let you know that I received my copy of "Meggie's Remains"! Thanks!

It does!! Over here we have something similar: a mountain called Cabeça do Velho, which means Old Man's Head. Excellent shot, Sandy.
