Continuing on with my Lighthouse series, this is the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. This past summer, we stayed at a friend's condo in New Smyrna Beach for the month of June. Outside our window and across the inlet was this beautiful structure. I would wake up at night and see the beacon twinkling at me. It has a huge campus, with museums and historical displays in each building, a hiking trail, and a graveyard for all of the lighthouse cats that have worked here over the years.

Wow, this is awesome! Sounds like you guys had a fun vacation! I want to be there!
I have to put that one on my 'to see' list!
darn, I guess I will have to go back to Florida then...hmmm...
Lovely red lighthouse! Sounds like a great place to hang out for a while.
I love the red color! Before we moved I had painted one of my living room walls that color, and I miss it.
that would be such a wonderful view to wake up to. I am really enjoying your lighthouse photos. :-)
That is just awesome. I'd love to be able to look at that everyday.
How neat! Something very Woolfian about waking to the twinkling beam--also reassuring. Love your lighthouse series.
Beautiful, I don't think I've ever visited a brick lighthouse!
