Congrats on your great award!
well, thank you, that is some great company I am in!
Thanks so much! I'll post about it soon. :)
Thank you so much for the award, Sandy! I feel so honored that you included me. :-) Thank you! You definitely deserve it as well.
Congrats and very well-deserved, Sandy! And thank you so much for passing on to me!!! {HUGS}
Thank you for the award! I'll post about it soon.
Thank you for introducing me to your sisters site. I love watching films, although I don't watch that many. Her site is great, and I look forward to finding out which ones are worth getting.
I love the sisterhood in blogdom. Everyone is so different, coming from places all over the world, with various personalities and likes. But you all are so supportive of me and each other. Its great!
Jackie - I am so glad you checked out my sister's blog. She has a serious love for asian film, as she has studied in China and speaks Mandarin. I'll bet she watches six to eight movies a week, all focusing on the indie films and not usually the mainstream ones. She also writes reviews for the newspaper in Minneapolis. (She was the one who convinced me to start blogging!) I am very proud of her.
Her site could be dangerously expensive for me - I wanted to watch several of the films she reviewed but all of them would cost $75+ to import to the UK. I now have to decide whether I could have a side business selling Asian DVDs!
Jackie - you will find that her interests will lead you down a perilous path. Many of these films are difficult to come by, even here in the US. As you can probably tell from her reviews, she has a serious passion for movies off the beaten path, and a HUGE knowledge of movies in general. I have never once mentioned a movie to her that she didn't know something about, and most she has seen.
Congrats on the award Sandy - so well deserved. And, thank you so much for passing on the blog love. Of course now I've got that song stuck in my head :)
Sandy - No problem with the mix-up, it happens a lot and I wrote about it here http://page247.wordpress.com/2009/02/14/weekly-geeks-3/.
I really appreciate the award and your great comments and support.
Iliana - I know, it is days later and I'm still singing it. I don't even like the song much!
Gavin - Well you know what they say about the word "assume", and I just did it! I hope you accept my apology! That should teach me a lesson!
