We will now be exiting Poland for another two years. On our last day in the Motherland, I experienced two things that made all that lack of Internet worthwhile. A shopping spree at a bookstore (top picture) where they had all English books on sale (!?) and a plate full of my mother-in-law's homemade pierogies (and a bit of wine on the side).

Man, I love pierogies. I keep meaning to make some ever since you shared your post that you were heading to Poland last year, but I keep forgetting to track down a good recipe! Thanks for the heads up on this; maybe I'll make something this weekend!
That bookstore looks amazing, as do the pierogies. I have never made them before, and wonder how well I would do. If you have any tips, let me know!
Those pierogies look so yummy. The only thing they are missing for me is the sweet cream we make with ours. Now you've made me want homemade pierogies and we both know how much work those are.
I've never had pierogies, but I may have to find out how to make them so I can try them.

Homemade pierogies! Yum. My grandma makes a mean pierogi, but you really can't go wrong with any kind! Have loved seeing your photos from Poland. Hope you get to go back so we can check out more. :)
