It's just fascinating. Until I finished reading the novel, i thought eatonville was a fictional town! This perfectly explains how reading an author's bio really helps!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4124681312732868654.post-81582640228698249952009-02-15T20:31:00.000-05:002009-02-15T20:31:00.000-05:00Thanks for tagging me, Sandy! I'm hoping we get up there at some point to check them out. There are still a few more in FL that we haven't even seen yet. I love the ones that are open to climb, and the keeper's houses that have been made into mini-museums. The Ponce Inlet one here in FL is the best I have seen.

Bumbles - I remember one of your posts with a lighthouse from Sanibel I think. I think there are probably six in the whole state and they're all a bit on the short side.

If you love lighthouses you simply must visit the coast of Maine. C.J. and I spent a week there one summer and loved it. Lots of very cool lighthouses, many with a keeper's house attached, too.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06906212382849291562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4124681312732868654.post-39881430605456906032009-02-14T10:22:00.000-05:002009-02-14T10:22:00.000-05:00Caite - that is such a coincidence that you saw th...Caite - that is such a coincidence that you saw this same lighthouse!
